Many times the foods we eat frequently that seem healthy are in fact contributing to our health problems.

Elimination of the offending foods can improve many health problems and lead to a better quality of life. Unfortunately, delayed hypersensitivity to foods can take up to 72 hours before rearing it's ugly head. That means that you don't know that the cauliflower you ate 3 days ago could be causing your headache today. IgG reactions to foods are different than typical allergies, IgE, that you may have been tested for in the past. An IgE reaction, typical allergy response, is usually immediate and has a histamine reaction like hives, swollen tongue, even death. Think peanut or shellfish allergy. However, you may be eating something that you are sensitive to and not even know it. I hear all the time that a patient eats healthy. What does that mean? If you are sensitive to lettuce and are eating lots of salads, that is not to healthy for you. We have to look at it on an individual basis.
